DSP POLICY STUDY

This study will evaluate the impact of recent policy changes on access to the DSP and other government benefits such as the Newstart Allowance. The study will analyse Centrelink aggregate data over time to answer questions such as:

• What impact have the recent changes to the DSP eligibility policy and procedures had on the number of people receiving the DSP and having their DSP applications granted?

• Are people with some disabilities and medical conditions more or less affected by these policy changes?
